In the past year, rock train traffic in Central FL has gone from "you can set your watch by" to "what the heck happened". Our legendary rock trains were lost in the economy's breakdown. Kaley's Conrad Yelvington quarry only gets one train per week from Miami & while it still tends to come north first thing in the morning, it could be a day or two before it goes south. Hence this shot, the empty train headed south a full 30 hours after coming north. Normal turn time is 12 hours. Train is passing the new Middlesex plant which sees one rock train per week from the north.
