Description:  NCDOT added an assist in the form of "The City Of Raleigh", most likely in Raleigh, to Amtrak's "Silver Star" for the trip to Miami. Not only is the "star" on the nose noteworthy, highway US 17-92 is one block east of this shot. Last time this happened was exactly 10 years ago in April 1998.

Description:  NCDOT added an assist in the form of "The City Of Raleigh", most likely in Raleigh, to Amtrak's "Silver Star" for the trip to Miami. Last time this happened was exactly 10 years ago in April 1998. Train is passing famed Church Street Station which is having "new life" poured into it.
